Nancy’s artistic path began with acrylic painting, but a class in “Zen” Doodling introduced her to an entirely new, meditative approach to creativity. What started in simple black and white gradually blossomed into vibrant color, inspiring her to name her work Happy Art.
“As a child, I was enchanted by fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and folk stories. Images danced in my imagination, and I loved watching them appear on paper. Color opened a world of freedom—no rules, just expression. I could create what I imagined, what I felt, what I observed. Seeing people smile at my art was the greatest reward. When I’m drawing, I lose myself so completely that hours pass in what feels like moments.”
