Artist Statement
For me creating art is an allegorical journey. It begins as a personal experience and gradually graduates to a symbolic image which relates also to the collective and universal levels of the human experience.
Allegorical art uses symbolic images and relationships to represent abstract ideas, themes and concepts. It allows me to explore complex ideas and emotions in a more open ended manner than writing or speaking.
It also invites you, the viewer to interpret the meaning of artworks in your own way and according to your own experiences.
My page is space,
My words are colours and forms
My life is my inspiration.
